The Sherman Theater

Located in the heart of historic downtown Stroudsburg, The Sherman Theater has restored and reopened to convey the grandeur of this original architecture and be an important part of the community once again.

After being closed for many years, The Sherman opened its doors in July 2005 to a packed house and in 2007 it received the 1st Annual Monroe County Heritage Tourism Excellence Award.

The Mountain Laurel for the Performing Arts Center

The Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts is located on the former Unity House property, a historic resort owned by the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union.
